Corey McCue is a graduate of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Michigan-Flint. Prior to studying physical therapy, Corey studied Exercise and Health Science at Alma College where he took an interest in research pertaining to muscle structure and building. During physical therapy school Corey was on the board of directors for PT HEART; a non-profit physical therapy and health services clinic in the Flint community. Corey joined CAO in 2018 after 2 years of treating patients in the South Lyon and Brighton areas. He has a background in athletics including football, wresting, track & field, and tennis. Interests include golfing, spending time with his wife and their 2 dogs, traveling, and exercising. Corey has received his level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has taken continuing education including: Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science, Advanced Hip and Shoulder treatment, and Applied Strength and Conditioning for Rehab Professionals. Corey believes in evidence based practice as well as encouraging active movement philosophies and challenging our bodies capacity to adapt to help individuals return to their meaningful activities.
