Sara Delikat, MPT
Sara graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s in Health Science in 1997 and a Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 1999. She has over 20 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. She specializes in manual therapy, pre and post-operative care for extremities and spine, sports rehab, and injury prevention. She is Graston certified and has completed numerous continuing education courses related to orthopedic care. As a former athlete and coach, she has an extensive background in sports rehabilitation with a variety of athletes.
She became interested in PT after going through physical therapy herself due to various injuries as a competitive gymnast. She saw firsthand the importance of physical therapy in restoring patient’s quality of life and helping them reach their goals. From then on she realized that it was her calling to help people attain their goals, whether it be to compete at the elite level in athletics or just be able to take a walk with their grandkids without pain. She takes pride in a caring and compassionate treatment approach that caters to all ages. She believes in the importance of developing a personalized treatment plan that combines the latest techniques and hands-on treatment to help restore the best quality of life.
