Amy McKouen, L.P.T.A., AT

Amy McKouen, LPTA, AT joined COA and Sports Medicine 17 years ago. She posses a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine with a concentration in athletic training. Her combined post-graduate education earned at Kent State University as a physical therapist Assistant has led to 25 years of clinical experience. Her knowledge in the field of sports-related injuries comes from her years of experience of being an athlete herself and a personal love for running. She has experience as an executive committee member for an annual road race held here in Oakland County. As the clinical continuing education coordinator, Amy has had 4 years of experience overseeing PT and PTA students through their internship endeavors. Amy has worked with youth football, professional athletes, Olympians, and most recently was the team trainer for Oakland University’s 2017 victorious club football team.
